If my shaderpack doesn’t want to work, please use the template at the bottom of this post, fill it and post your results in the comment section.

It is really important, that you show me your Game Output Log. To call it, you have to open your Minecraft Launcher and go to “Edit Profile”. Then make a tick by “Launcher visibility” and select “Keep the launcher open”. Then click on “Save Profile” and run the game. Now load any world and select my shaderpack. Then go back to your Minecraft Launcher and open the Tab “Game Output”. Please copy the whole log and paste it on pastebin.com.

    When it happened?: this occurs when getting Close to the signs and looking up. For me it Looks like the Wood texture is moved sideways aswell (black vertical stripes, same as from my chest-glitch post earlier)

  18. Colored glass looks invisible when you put it down. It has no border and I think borders would look better. The image also looks like a different color if your looking through glass. I am not sure if you meant to do this but it would help if you changed it.

    1. What error are you getting? What system are you running? Stick to the layout suggested above if you can, and don’t forget the output log of your game.

    Ich habe Probleme mit der Ausrichtung des Parallax-Effekts in einigen Fällen, beispielsweise der Unterseite von (wahrscheinlich) sämtlichen Blöcken, sowie der Oberseite von Kisten:

    Sie stimmt beim Blick gen Westen (90°/0°), und verzerrt sich mit größeren Abweichungen davon zunehmend mehr. Am stärksten ist es bei einer Blickrichtung von 125°, die Richtung des Effekts liegt dabei praktisch 90° “daneben” (siehe Screenshot).

    Da es in dieser Form nur bei KUDA auftritt (sowohl v5.0.6 als auch der v6.0.72 Beta) und auch verschiedene Shadersmod/Optifine Kombinationen keinen Einfluss haben, nehme ich an, dass es nichts mit meinem Spiel allgemein ist, sollte ich da falsch liegen bitte ich um Vergebung, bitte einfach eine harsch formulierte Antwort in meine Richtung pfeffern. 😉

    Ansonsten Hut ab für die neue v.6 Version, bin hellauf begeistert!

    What is the problem?: Glass is clear, no texture, and so are slimeblocks. Looking through transparent blocks doesn’t render shadows. Player names flicker on and off. When certain settings, like Smooth Shadows or render distance blur, are enabled, the player’s hand becomes transparent.

    1. The clear stained glass looks like it was an attempt at giving it a material, and accidentally applying it to all translucent textures. The shadows not rendering past it happens in every shader pack except one of the old legacy versions of SEUS, and this is due to the load order. Rendering shadows uses variables that are not returned past translucent textures, if you look through stained glass you’ll also see that water isn’t rendered. The shader mod treats textures with an alpha as completely opaque textures, so it doesn’t return material values past it.

    What is the problem?: glass issues. colored glass seem all grey or shaded and from lit side clear or invisible. Also when looking through from a lit area it will make everything on the other side seem fully lit.

  28. Shaderpack: Cuda-Shaders v4.2 Ultra
    What is the problem?: Wanted to report a couple things, first and foremost that the Shader makes the new 1.8 door textures wiggle in the wind like grass or leaves. This also happens for a few other items from mods (example: fridge or turned off lamp from Mr. CrayFish Furniture Mod.) Also healthbars of Mo’Creatures are full of black glitchy lines. none of these are game breaking, but can ruin the beauty this shader brings to the game.
    When it happend?: It’s constant, expect this to be consistent with all players. 🙂

    What is the problem?:

    The glass blocks are see through, with no colour.
    Slime blocks are also see through.
    Looking at Armour is glitchy.
    Chests glitch with appearance.
    Heads as a block glitch with appearance.
    Banners glitch with appearance.
    I’m not sure if this is fixable, however on my server there are custom enchants with done seem to work ie, Night vision.
    Also, an option to turn off the leaf movement would be nice.

    – Can you fix the ice please or make the ice so amazing like the rest of your shaderpack?
    – I have problems with signs (look the pictures)
    – Please can you add “Shader Options” for the new OptiFine for Minecraft 1.8.9

    Because of the aforementioned problem with v6, I’ve decided to go with v5.0.6. I’ve turned on DOF and Motionblur so now it’s looking pretty good except for the water. It has lines in it.

  38. v6.1.13 BETA – Lite (But I’ve seen the same bugs using some of the other versions)

    problems:
    (real problems)
    -Netherportals are blank, showing only the outside frame, but not the portal block itself and whatever is behind it with some weird effects involving colour blending(It’s like looking through a portal from 1.5 with a reddish tint)
    -Enderchest have a weird texture glitch where the texture would be offset to one side for some reason or it would appear as if it was a half slab depending on the direction it’s being looked at
    -Water cannot be seen through clouds
    -Mobs with enchanted armor have their armor glow as if it was in the brightest sunlight, even if it’s in a unlit cave
    -If a mob is hit, it doesn’t turn the normal reddish color and the only indication that it was hit is a hit sound
    -Some markers from a external minimap mod I have flikker a bit as if the game is trying to give them a shadow and failing
    (opinionated problems)
    -there is now indication of when water is stationary or flowing

    Game Errors: None
    Problem: Shaders work perfectly fine, the problem I am confronting is that, any time I enable the shader, everything is dark, I can see nothing but the sky. The only way I can see the shaders work properly is with a light emitting block (torch, sea lantern, etc.) I do not know if it’s a bug in the shaders itself, or if it’s my computer’s graphics card, which by the way is NVIDIA Quadro FX 1700 (Version 9.18.13.4195).

    The little I’ve been able to see in this shader, really amazes me. I love the work on this one, and I’m really looking forward to use this shader as I play. I hope that this shader keeps going, keep up with the great work on it, seriously.

      1. I couldn’t really run it that well, I need to get more ram for my computer, but the small glimpse I caught from the DEV shader, I can see everything. I’ll be looking forward for it on it’s lite version. Thank you for replying as quick as you could.

    I have a side-to-side photo of your previous version vs. your latest version (v6.2.81 vs. v6.4.80). Even on the lowest settings, IT LAGS, say disable some effects, IT LAGS. Hoping you could please optimize it. Majority always win, The new update won, but optimization fails, I could just barely play it. :'(

      1. But, will you please optimize it in the future? Maybe not now, but how about the further updates? Will you do that?

        1. As I already said: I can’t do much. The only solution to optimize it will be to create a new shaderpack with a new code structure.

    What is the problem?: Water texture is mottled with squares and geometric shapes, as is the sky around the sun.

  48. An uncommon issue, not about crash or break, but about effect.

    What is the problem?: When render with ReplayMod in Cubic or Equirectangular mode (360° mode), a partial cubic will shown when facing the sun. This might due to some Lens Flare effect, but I didn’t found any adjustable variable in *.fsh file.
    When it happend?: Render with ReplayMod in Cubic or Equirectangular mode (360° mode), and facing the sun.

    1. It’s probably godrays, because they are rendered in screen space. And because of the mod, you’ll get these artifacts. I guess the only solution is just to disable them.

  51. Hi there,

    is it possible to get a properly working shader with custom day and night cycle?
    On the server I play there is 30 minutes day and 10 minutes night. After a while the day and night of the shader does not fit with the server time anymore. E. g.: At daytime the sun is up in the sky but the sky is dark and the ground is dark as well.

    I am not able to do the necessary changes on my own. I would be glad if you could help me getting a working solution.

I was wondering if you were planning on improving compatibility, because for me, 6.4.80 was – aside from a few minor issues – quite alright, but since then the shaderpack basically stopped functioning. This is it now with 6.5.26 & 6.5.40 dev. I’m not posting the report template on this one, because not much has changed since my post above.
